Managing Director and Lead Fitter

Simon is one of the directors of our company. Along with his wife Louise, they opened the first showroom in July 2018 after 25 years of being a self employed fitter. Simon and Louise decided to open the business to give customers a better quality of service from start to finish, with aspirations to hand the business down to the next generation and generations to come. Simon still has a primary role in the physical aspect of the company, being a lead fitter alongside Craig and now has over 30 years of fitting experience.

Managing Director

Louise is a director of our company. Alongside Simon, they opened the first showroom in July 2018. Louise has a long background in flooring sales and takes on the role of overseeing sales and all office-related business.

Simon and herself decided to open the business to give customers a better quality of service from start to finish. Louise aspires to hand the business down to the next generation and generations to come.

Assistant Manager and Sales Representative

Nicole is our assistant manager and lead sales assistant, since joining the company in 2019 she has built a strong rapport with customers and general public. Since the second showroom opened in 2021, Nicole has taken on the responsibilty of the main office and showroom at Stumps Lane and has also taken on the role of training new office members alongside Louise. Being the children of Louise and Simon, Nicole and Craig will one day be succesors of the business.

Commercial Manager and Lead Fitter

Craig is one of our fitters with over 16 years of experience. He started working as an apprentice alongside Simon in 2006. Craig then went self-employed and began fitting on his own. Craig's journey with L&S began in 2019 as a lead fitter alongside Simon.

Craig has fully trained our previous fitters and has the role of training all future fitters. Craig fits all types of flooring but specialises in hard flooring and safety flooring. Alongside Nicole, Craig will one day be a succesor of the family business.

Sales Assistant and Media Manager

Eden is the newest member of our main office team, she joined L&S in August 2022 and began updating all of our social media and website content. Eden is responsible for maintaining and updating the media sites and has now been trained in the office. Eden has now gained knowledge of flooring and fitting and is accompanying customers in the showroom. Eden aspires to expand her knowledge of the business and products, and has now progressed to working on commercial customers as well as domestic.

Customer Care and Sales Assistant

Leanne joined the team in 2020 working in our head office at Stumps Lane. In 2021 after the opening of the second showroom, Leanne became the main sales assistant for Clover Way dealing with members of the public as well as customer care for our commercial sites. Leanne hopes to continue to build a rapport with the public and to gain a greater understanding of new information regarding flooring to best advise customers.

Fitter

Andrew joined the company in May 2020. He began as a self-employed apprentice being trained by Craig and Simon. 

Andrew has since become employed and is mostly seen on domestic carpet jobs as well as commercial sites. Andrew aspires to continue to hone his fitting skills and gain further knowledge about all things flooring inorder to aid his progression, with a main focus in domestic and commercial carpet fitting.

Fitter

Trueman joined our team in June 2020. He began as a self-employed apprentice being taught by Craig. 

Trueman has since become employed and is mostly seen on LVT fittings and commercial sites.

Trueman aims to further improve his skills and understanding of floor fitting and everything that it entails, specifically focusing on domestic and commercial LVT jobs.

Fitter

Caleb joined the L&S team in November 2022 and has since become a trainee fitter, he is seen most often on domestic and commercial jobs working alongside Simon and Craig. Caleb is working on gaining further knowledge and skills to progress to a fully trained fitter.

Trainee Fitter

Matt joined the L&S team in December 2022, he is currently training alongside Craig and Simon. Matt has numerous years of experience in carpet and flooring sales and has taken an interest in the process beyond sales. Matt will be training to fit all types of flooring.

Paw-ffice Manager

Nelson joined the L&S family in 2019 alongside his owner Nicole, he is most often found sleeping under Nicole's desk or relaxing outside in the sun. Nelson quite often accompanies customers in the showroom showing them which carpets are comfiest for their pets. Nelsons aspirations are to try all the carpets out inorder to give customers an honest review and to continue to improve his excellent re-tail  skills. Nelson says 'Sales are through the woof!'

Paw-ffice Assistant

Bonbon joined the team alongside her owner, Eden, in August 2022. Bonbon is often found chewing her toys in the office, and sometimes the cushions too. Bonbon is partial to a blanket and sleeping under Eden's desk. Bonbon loves the attention of customers and is proud to demonstrate the scratch resistance of our LVT ranges that are fitted in the showroom. Bonbon hopes to follow the pawprints of her colleague Nelson and to continue to build an excellect ra-paw with customers. Bonbon says 'I specialise in pup-lic relations'
