SCOTIA

Wanting an upgraded look for the edges of any room?Scotia is a decorative moulding most often in a concave design that can be used with any LVT or laminate flooring at your choosing - Scotia is most often used with laminate, engineered wood or click system LVT flooring that requires an expansion gap around the perimeter of the room as a way to cover this gap without removing the skirting boards or simply as an aesthetic choice as opposed to sealant based on the customers preferences!

At L&S we have many options for scotia, including colour matching scotia for out Quickstep, Furlong Laminate and Invictus LVT ranges!

As well as this, there is an option to have a plain white scotia to match white skirting boards or even a paintable scotia for you to colour match to your wall or painted skirting boards to get the look you desire!

DESIGN STRIPS

Design strips are narrow pieces of LVT which are available in a range of colours and widths.They offer an authentic finish to your floor and can be used to between tiles to create a natural grouting effect, or between planks to enhance the design of your flooring!

Design strips are versatile and can be used multiple ways to make your room uniquely your own, they can be used around the perimeter of every plank/tile to make your flooring stand out ever more - or on the longest edges to give a decking look! Another option is simply to have the design strips framing the rooms perimeter to compliment a border!

The beauty of design strip versus real grout is that they are non-porous, meaning that they wont stain, harbour bacteria, discolour over time or crack with seasonal temperature changes - keeping your floors looking brand new year-round!

BORDERS

Looking to enhance the design of your floor even further? A decorative border might be just the thing you need

Borders go around the perimeter of your flooring and can be simple or complex depending on your aesthetic preferences, from tramline borders to diamond borders to zigzag borders, the perfect look for your space is easy to find and create!

Looking for something a bit more classic? A design strip border in a colour of your choosing with a matching plank to the central flooring on the outside can bring something special and time-less to your space!

DOORBARS

Doorbars are fitted in door thresholds to ensure a quality finish to your flooring and protect flooring edges from damage caused by doors or foot traffic.

Doorbars come in different types depending on the flooring on either side of the threshold, and come in various different colours and effect including wood effects, tile effect and matt or gloss colours!
